June 2025 Market Update

 

Across BC, the real estate market is showing more stability, with growing inventory and steady interest rates as the Bank of Canada held the key interest rate steady at 2.75%. While activity has been slower than usual, the consistency in prices and borrowing costs is creating a more comfortable and predictable environment for both buyers and sellers.

 

Buyer's Market

  • Fraser Valley
  • Greater Vancouver
  • Okanagan

Seller's Market

  • Squamish
  • Whistler

Balanced Market

  • Greater Victoria

 

Months of Supply measures how long it would take to sell all current listings at the current sales pace. Generally, fewer than 4 months indicates a seller’s market, 4 to 6 months is balanced, and more than 6 months signals a buyer’s market.
